  • Due within 3 days of application approval with lease signatures
  • $250 minimum, up to 2 months' rent depending on qualifications

  • $199 non-refundable, due at move-in


Utility Billing:

Trash Removal:

  • Valet trash service is $35/month 
  • Includes trash container per apartment

  • Can I bring my own washer and dryer?

    Our community has a full size, front load, stacked washer & dryer set already installed in each apartment home. No need to bring yours!

  • Can I have a pet?

    YES! We love dogs of all sizes and cats. There are NO breed restrictions!

  • Do I need Renters Insurance?

    Yes. Proof of Renters Insurance is required before you move in and with each lease renewal. We recommend getting a quote from your current insurer if you have an auto or life policy.

  • Is Apex at Vista Ridge a smoke free community?

    We are a fully non-smoking community. We do not allow smoking within 50ft of common areas.

  • Is there a preferred employer program?

    We have a list of preferred employers and a discount available! Call us to see if your employer is on the list. 

  • Is there high speed internet available?

    YES! The community offers complimentary WiFi in the amenity spaces and each apartment is wired for high speed internet through Verizon or Comcast. Connect the provider of your choice. If you choose satellite, it must be on your apartment’s porch or balcony and not affixed to the building in any way.

  • Is Apex at Vista Ridge on social media?

  • I do not live locally. Can I still tour an apartment?

    Yes! We have 3D Virtual Tours of every floor plan available on our website. You can also schedule a LIVE Virtual Tour with a Leasing Professional during our office hours. 


New Resident Information

  • What utilities do I need to set up and pay separately?

    Residents pay water, trash removal, electric, & TV/Internet. Residents receive an invoice for water based on usage and is payable with your monthly rent. Residents will set up an electricity account with Dominion Energy and pay this utility directly to Dominion Energy. There is a $5/mo utility billing fee. Valet Trash Service is $35/mo which is listed on the utility invoice and payable with your monthly rent.

  • How can I pay my rent?

    We offer online rental payment through the Resident Portal via Flex Rent, eCheck, Debit or Credit Card, or Electronic Cash Payments. You may set up reoccuring payments through your Resident Portal. 


    You may also pay with a personal check or cashier’s check. If you prefer to utilize Electronic Cash Payments, you’ll receive a PaySlip barcode which you’ll bring to a participating store, and pay via cash for a small fee.

  • How do I request maintenance service?

    You can submit a service request on the online Resident Portal. If it is after hours, we will respond the next day.


    For emergencies, please text or call 804-429-1946 for our on-call Maintenance Technician. Most of the time, a technician will be out within the hour.

  • What is the Resident Portal?

    The Resident Portal is where you can pay rent, message the Leasing Office, request maintenance service, see community announcements, and post to your neighbors. You will receive an email to create your account. If you already have an account, you can access the Resident Portal HERE. 

  • Where can I park? How about my guests?

    We offer off street parking that is first come first served. As a courtesy, please ask your guests to save the closer spots for our community residents.



  • I have an electric vehicle, do you have a charging station?

    Yes! We currently have one Electric Vehicle Charger with 2 parking spots available for resident use, but we may add more in the future.

  • Can I add a pet after I move in?

    Absolutely! Contact the office with your pet’s information and vet records and we can help you add them to your lease.

  • How can I reserve the resident lounge/clubhouse for a private event?

    Notify the Leasing Office with the date and time you would like to reserve. There is a $150 rental fee. You may reserve the clubhouse for up to 4 hours, which includes time for set up and clean up.

  • How does trash removal work?

    You will have a trash receptacle provided for your apartment. You will set the receptacle with a closed bag of trash in the hall right outside your door on Sun-Thurs by 6PM and move it back inside your apartment by 9AM. There is a dumpster outside for large items & boxes. Please flatten any boxes you throw away.

  • Can you help me find shopping, dining, & FUN?
